Our Forward Deployed Engineers own entire client engagements: discovery, build and delivery. The ideal hire sits where all three meet. Strong on two with a real appetite for the third? Still apply.

01 Answer three quick questions Right here, on video, about five minutes all up. The questions are below so you can think before you hit record.

02 Adam reviews it personally Every submission is watched by Adam, not a screening bot. You’ll hear back within a couple of days either way.

03 We talk If there’s a fit, you’ll get a call to go deeper on your experience, what you’d own and the specifics on pay.

04 Trial month, then ownership Start on real client engagements alongside Adam, with on-site visits included. Prove it, and your base and ownership scale from there.

Question 1 · up to 90 seconds Introduce yourself. Who are you, whereabouts are you based, and tell us about a time you worked directly with a client or business to improve how they do something. Keep it natural. Any consulting, freelancing or hands-on project counts.

Question 2 · up to 2 minutes Show us something you’ve actually built with AI. Walk us through a skill, plugin, agent or workflow you made in Claude, what it did, and how you built it. We care about what you’ve genuinely built, not just tools you’ve tried. If it lives at a link, say the link out loud.

Question 3 · up to 90 seconds Which business systems have you worked with, and what did you do with them? For example ServiceM8, Simpro, Microsoft Business Central, the 365 suite, other ERPs, Xero or QuickBooks. Name the ones you’ve actually used and how. If you’ve worked in or around construction, trades or manufacturing, mention it.

On pay: a competitive base plus commission on the client outcomes you own. Pay scales with ownership. Exact numbers depend on the role and your experience, and we’ll cover them openly on the call. If you’ve built things with Claude, like skills, plugins or workflows, have them ready to show. It’s the fastest way to stand out.
